Justice of the Peace: Courthouse Replacement

This is a Civil Marriage Appointment. This is replacing going to the courthouse and standing at the window. This is not a wedding ceremony with family and friends.

You will apply for, and obtain, your SC Marriage License. See page on obtaining your SC Marriage License from the courthouse.

Sign, Smile and Go $50.00

The Justice of the Peace, Civil Ceremony is replacing going to the courthouse window (courthouse wedding) and signing your SC Marriage License. The Couple and the Myrtle Beach Wedding Officiant will sit down and sign your SC Marriage License. After having your marriage license signed, the Minister will be happy to take a picture of the couple with their cellphone. This short appointment is for the COUPLE ONLY. No guests. If you have an infant or small elementary aged kids and cannot get a sitter, they are welcome to come in with you and take a seat. The couple will go home with a License and we will get the other 2 copies back to the courthouse for filing. Info on obtaining Certified Copies and name change is given.

Simple Vow & Ring Exchange, Sign, Smile and Go $75.00

The Myrtle Beach Wedding Officiant will lead the Couple to say their simple I Do's and exchange their rings. The three will then sit down and get the the SC Marriage License signed. After signing the Officiant will be glad to take a picture with the couple's cellphone. This 10 minute appointment is for the Couple Only. No Guests. If you have an infant or small elementary age kids and cannot get a sitter, you may bring them in and they can take a seat. The couple will go home with a License and we will get the other 2 copies back to the courthouse for filing. Info on obtaining Certified Copies and name change is given. (courthouse wedding)
